NYC LOCAL LAW 84
Local Law 84 is a law passed by the New York City Council. It is part of a series of city regulations designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the environment. The law requires all buildings over 50,000 square feet (4,600 m2) to submit annual data on energy usage for the previous year by May 1.
Your building will receive an efficiency rating score (A through D) that takes the form of a colorful label that is posted near the door of the building.
